Man injured in Chadoora mishap on Friday, succumbs at SKIMS | KNO

Budgam, July 23 (KNO) : A 32-year-old man who was seriously wounded after being hit by an unknown vehicle at Chadoora Budgam on Friday, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura on Tuesday afternoon. Sources told KNO that the mishap occurred on Friday 19 July evening at central Kashmir's Chadoora near Sub District Hospital Chadoora when an unknown vehicle believed as Figo Ford hit his Scotty and leaved him seriously injured and ran away from the spot. Officials told KNO that "the man was critically injured in the mishap and was shifted to a Sub District Hospital Chadoora wherefrom he was referred to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura in critical condition.” “Later, he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday afternoon," the official told KNO. SHO Chadoora also confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Riyaz Ahmad Wani, son of Mohammad Khazir Wani of Alipora Chadoora. "The body was handed over to his family after completing all legal formalities," the official told KNO. He said a case in this regard has registered and have launched hunt to trace the driver and vehicle.(KNO)
